The Cat B licence requirement, at least pre-Brexit, included time holding such a licence in the EU because of mutual recognition of licences, and I don’t know if that has changed, but I’m pretty sure the three year rule applies to HGV and other professional driving roles as well - it’s basically one year past your 24 month probationary period.
